All are welcome to join our monthly meetings and share their experiences using the Roots Magic Software.
The Roots Magic Special Interest Group focuses upon use of the Roots Magic (RM) software. Members share tips and tricks, attempting to resolve problems and issues encountered in using the software. External resources and support articles are identified and shared. Participants use either Windows or Mac versions of the software. Experience level ranges from beginners to those with more than a decade experience with Roots Magic. Members communicate via an email group between meetings to raise questions and provide support. Our discussions have touched upon various aspects of using RM and included general problem solving, data sharing with other online trees and creating reports, charts and "books" as a means of preserving and passing on our family research.
